How to get there
From the Faro airport go to the Via do Infante highway and leave it in the direction of Monte Gordo. Then follow the directions to Monte Gordo until there is a Altura Sign (there is a very tall building that is the only one in the area. Easy to spot!).

Wind from 12-20 knots during the summer, 15-25 when the good East wind enters in the winter. Wind side to sideon from either side (East, SE or SW). October to April it is a five star spot for the East wind that comes from Gibraltar (only works in the south of Portugal).
