This is a public boat launch, free, with a big grassy area for rigging by the water.
There are a few rocks right at the tip of the point but easily avoided. Lots of boats in season but can be avoided if you stay out of the channel and sail upwind to the other side of sandy point where there are no boats or to Watch Hill, RI. and walk over to the ocean side for good swell and small waves. Or you can sail around the point. Watch out for boats.
