From the highway that comes along Bergen op Zoom (see map of the Netherlands), go from the highway at the signs 'Bergen op Zoom - Noord', you will then come on the northern ring of Bergen op Zoom, follow this road till the roundabout and go right there. Next road crossing left, and at the Total tank station right.

Beach and Tide Conditions
Kitesurfing conditions
do not depend on Tide
on this spot.
Binnenschelde, Netherlands is a
Shallow, Flat and Chop spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Small size.
No sand beach here. Just a narrow lane of grass. There is room to comfortably lay out 1 kite but with some good will a couple of kiters can share the spot. Entries/Exits: I recommend to go kiting at the local kiteboarding club called 'Backside' the club was formerly known as 'de Kreekrakkers'. They have a private part of the lake, and you can launch there.
It's an inland lake, so no tide at all. It's fairly flat, but when the wind has been blowing hard for a couple of hours, some small chop appears. The water is almost everywhere fairly shallow, waist till neck deep. But across the lake there's a old canal, so it is deep there.
