How to get there
FTV-1 direction Morro Jable South. About 2 km. Before Costa Calma there is an exit to La Pared. Drive straight to the end of the village and you find a surf school after that there is a sand road to the beach where everybody goes for surfing. Park the car in the top of a little hill and you have to walk 5 minutes to the beach.

The sea at this side of the island is very dangerous and you don't have much room for errors. The wind usually is onshore sometimes a litle sideonshore. It's difficult to go out for the wind direction and big waves.

It's not a spot for beginners or intermediate kiters. You have to be very confident and skilled to kite there. Dropping the kite once can mean you will be taken out to the ocean with only high cliffs, no chance for rescue. Surfers have to be respected if you don't want problems. Low tide is the time to go, high tide is even more difficult.
