Low tide great spot for totally flat water as is waist high. This is due to the West Winner sand bar, which is visible from mid to low tide. Sandy bottom. This produces ideal learning conditions, as you have shallow flat water for over a kilometer out to sea. High tide great for wave riding. Waves come in from Southeast.
