How to get there
Get to Kiel. From Kiel take the 503 to the North. Exit in Strande (Olympiazentrum) and turn right. After about 2km a big crossing with a Stop sign, turn left here. After Alt Buelk and Marienfelde turn right towards Daenisch Nienhof. Drive through Daenisch Nienhof and just behind the end of the village turn right onto a small road (at the bus stop). Follow the road to the lawn parking lot (with costs). Walk through the forest and climb down the small hill onto the beach.

Summer is nice and warm. High season a short is ok, a few weeks with just shorts is possible. Usually a wetsuit is always needed. Water max 22°C in summer, normally around 15°C. Winter gets cold, but a thick wetsuit, gloves, mask and shoes make kiting almost year-round possible. Air: summer between 20-30°C, spring and fall around 15°C.
