How to get there
Take the B203 from Eckernfoerde towards Kappeln. Exit at Loose and drive to Ludwigsburg and stay on the street until you see signs to Kleinwaabs and follow the signs to the beach. Park at the parking lot.

Summer is nice and warm. High season a short is ok, a few weeks with just shorts is possible. Usually a wetsuit is always needed. Water max 22°C in summer, normally around 15°C. Winter gets cold, but a thick wetsuit, gloves, mask and shoes make kiting almost year-round possible. Air: summer between 20-30°C, spring and fall around 15°C.

Be careful of the wave breakers and with onshore winds if you are in front of the cliffs, since the wind can suck you up the cliffs. Surfers habe to go 100m to the right. Not really suited for kitesurfing.
