Beach and Tide Conditions
Kitesurfing conditions do not depend on Tide on this spot.
Lake Como / Pare, Italy is a Chop spot.
The launching/landing area is reported to be of Medium size.
No sandy beach but just grass. You can inflate, rig, launch and land your kite on a quite large flat meadow. But to get into the water we have to walk down a 10 steps thin concrete stair while you fight to keep the kite in the air. When the lake level is high you can jump directly from stairs into the water but when the water is low, like it happens in summer, you need to walk 20/30 meters on slimy and sharp small stones. For experts only!
It's a lake, mostly choppy 10 to 40cm. Not much room to go downwind. 50m downwind to the water access there is a rock: so you need to ride upwind the first 50/100 meters, no mistakes allowed.
