How to get there
Drive from Aalborg towards Nibe, from there head towards Løgstør, and from there towards Ranum and then Aars. On the way you will get to Trend. Just before Trend at a small parking space on some grass, right next to the road, is where we surf.

Water temp not above 21°C in the summer, but air temp sometimes 30°C. In winter the Fjord can freeze over. A wetsuit is usually necessary (although a shorty will do in summer). Season is from March until at least October. Off-season surf is possible.
