Little Cayman / South Hole Sound, Cayman Islands is a
Shallow, Flat and Chop spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Small size.
There is a lot of beach but it is very narrow. The water is shallow so it is easy to launch from the water. There is another launch at the eastern end of the lagoon that is rocky but is awesome on a Southeaster because you can do a nice downwinder.
The sound is an enclosed lagoon about 2 miles long by 1/2 mile wide. The deepest point is about 8 feet but most of the area is chest deep. The water is flat but can become choppy if the wind is strong. Tidal change is about 2 feet and really does not affect things much.
