How to get there
From Brisbane drive north and get to Noosaville. From Noosaville drive to Noosa Head on Noosa Parade or Noosa Dr. and then left on Hastings St to the camping ground. In the camping ground drive all the way to the west until you reach the river mouth.

The river mouth is a tourist mecca. It is used by sun bathers, swimmers, families and most important every other type of water craft. It is the entry and exit point for tourist boats who have to navigate the sand bar on low tide. Jet skis and cats are also everywhere. Rules: walk out as deep as possible to launch so you are away from the beach (sandy shallows), keep away from swimmers, once away get out and keep away from the main beach area. Avoid and give way to all other water craft. Always wear a safety leash. Please see code of conduct sign at the spot.
