Exit the A31 in Emden and drive to Norden. In Norden drive further north to Norddeich when you are at the port in Norddeich park your car and walk to the outdoor swimming pool.

Beside that times a walk of about 400m must be made to get into the deeper water. Water level also also depends on the wind direction and strength. The water's character varies about every minute with the raise and fall of the waters level. In general Norddeich is a flat water spot, although the water may become pretty choppy. The bottom is muddy.
