From Melbourne airport, simply go towards the city, exit SE Suburbs. Find your way towards the bay. Hampton is located 15km southeast of Melbourne. Just north of the Sandringham Yacht Club.

During January to February you can kitesurf 75% of the afternoons, the rest of the summer 50%, but the wind is more unreliable and gustier. Can be very gusty and light on the inside in S-SSE. Always smoother air and more wind out past the breakwater. Sideshore: NNW and SSE.
