Providenciales / TK Kite Arena, Turks and Caicos Islands is a
Shallow, Flat and Small waves spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Medium size.
Great launching area at the south end of the Five Cays beach, next to a cafe.
The clearest possible water. Set of several spots which build up a fantastic kite arena. Bets place to launch is at south of Five Cays, exactly where it is located on the map. Spot 1: Five Cays - small waves, shallow bay, launch place. Spot 2: Fishermen Lagoon - launch at 1 and ride further south behind a small fishermen marina. Picturesque lagoon with shallow water, super flat and nice two islands. Spot 3: other small beaches further south, again access by water. Spot 4: Wreck Lagoon - kite connoisseur playground. Ride behind the southernmost point, then a bit downwind and an amazing lagoon opens before the big shipwreck. Must see! Just make sure the forecast ensures you get back (a bit of upwind ride) otherwise you have a looong walk back to spot 1 and likely discussion with guard on the coast (probably government or military area).
