From Hamburg and Luebeck drive North on the A1. Exit where signs say `Cismar` and follow that direction. In Cismar follow signs on the B501 to Kellenhusen or Dahme. Ask for directions to Rosenfelde Strand.

A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20°C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18°C (in summer) and can go up to 30°C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November. Off-season is possible but very cold.
