The Sakalava Bay is a large and rounded sandy beach, so there is sand everywhere to launch or relaunch the kite if ever you were going anywhere downwind on that bay.
The Sakalava Bay is a beautiful large shallowed bay with really clear water at high tide. It looks like a big Polynesian lagoon with a reef located at about 800 meters from the beach with some good waves breaking on it (1 to 2 meters high).
