Winter may require a shorty or, if cold front, something more. Evenings are gorgeous, and good to carry a light sweater. Spring usually heat seeker is ok. In summer very warm.
Recommended wind for kitesurfing is wind coming from SE and NW .
There is Thermal and Frontal wind at Sandy Cay, Bahamas.
Winter winds are usually best, from December to March. Can be good all year, except for September and early October. Summer winds are thermal, and come up in the afternoons. Hurricane season is June 1. to November 30. Sandy Cay beach curves around, and really can be ridden on most wind directions. Especially at low tide, when the sand bar is exposed!
Wind usually blows from N, SE and NW on the spot.

None. Sandy Cay rarely has anyone on it! If you launch at low tide, make sure you place your gear high enough up on the land so that when high tide comes, your things will be safe and dry.
