Sea Of Galilee / Diamond Beach, Israel is a
Chop and Small waves spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Medium size.
The size of the beach depends on the level of the water in the lake. After a rainy winter the beach is small but after a dry winter the beach is large and there is plenty of room. The beach floor is from rocks and gravel but it's not too bad to launch kites. Wear rubber shoes, lots of stones.
It's a small lake so the water is a bit choppy. Great wind on July and August. Very crowded on weekend (Friday and Saturday). Wind could fell in middle of session be alert to the local surfers getting out of water.
