How to get there
Tacoma Aiport. Take the Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry to the South end of Whidbey Island. From the ferry dock, take 525 (main road) pass both Bayview Rd. and Useless Bay Rd, next left at Doublebluff Rd., then straight to the park at the end.

It's more of an intermediate to advanced location due to the onshore to sideonshore winds. If the wind is out of the West enough it could work for beginners. Prime wind direction is South to Southwest.

Flat to choppy water. Deeper water during high tide, shallow before and after. When there is a strong outgoing tide some nice waves can build up as the wind blows opposite of the current and the water is shallow. Low tide makes ideal Skim Boarding conditions.
